Using this website
The content here is provided for information. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution and link to it. Please don't copy substantial parts of it and present it as your own.
Enquiries and quotations
Descriptions of services on this website are not an offer and no prices are quoted here. Cost depends on the scope of the work. A project only exists once a written scope and price have been agreed by both parties.
Project work
- Each engagement is governed by its own written agreement covering scope, timeline, payment terms and acceptance criteria.
- Where the two documents conflict, the project agreement wins over this page.
- Changes to agreed scope are quoted separately before being carried out.
Intellectual property
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, ownership of custom code and documentation built for a client transfers to that client once the associated invoices are paid. Third-party libraries, models and services remain subject to their own licences and terms, and are the client's responsibility to license for their own use.
No guarantee of specific results
AI systems are probabilistic. I can commit to a defined scope, a defined process and measurable evaluation results agreed with you. I cannot guarantee a particular business outcome, revenue figure or time saving, and anyone who does is guessing.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees paid for the work in question. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Third-party services
Projects may depend on third-party model providers, hosting platforms and APIs. Their availability, pricing and terms are outside my control. Where a dependency change would materially affect a system I have built, I will tell you and propose a route forward.
Governing law
The governing law and jurisdiction for any engagement will be stated in the project agreement. If no agreement is in place, this website is provided without warranty of any kind.
